Top 5 FREE STOCK FOOTAGE SITES, for commercial use 2021- For blogger and Youtubers

Are you looking for stunning FREE clips to use in your projects? .

Hello Guys! today we're going to lookat the best free stock video sites. I’m going to list the 5 sites thatare best in my opinion and, to be clear, this is not a sponsored. Before we start I want you to knowthat free does not always imply that it is without restrictions or obligations. On most of these sites you'll finda Creative Commons license. There are different levels or building blockswithin these Creative Commons licenses. But the most common one that you'll findis the CC 0 or the CC BY. CC 0 is the most permissivelicense that exists. You don't have to creditthe original creator and there are no restrictionson what you can do with it. The other Creative Commons licensevariations are a bit more limited. It could require you to creditthe original creator or maybe not use thisin any commercial work. So to summarize, make sure to checkthe license terms before you download and use the footage. I will link the official Creative Commonswebsite so you can check out the details. And one more disclaimerbefore we start: the license info for each site presentedin this article can be changed in the future, so make sure to always checkthe most current license terms on the website itself. Now without further ado, let's start with the list. The first one on the list is MAZWAI.

NO.1 MAZWAI

I’m not sure how topronounce this correctly. But I'm sure that this sitehas got some stunning footage. The clean and simple layoutof the website makes it easy to navigateand preview the footage. You can scroll through the items infull-screen mode or in 4x4 grid mode. This is the smallest free stocksite that you'll find in the list. Here it's clearly quality over quantity. At this moment they offeraround 200 downloads, which all contain multipleclips stitched together. Most of the downloads arehigh-quality 1080p footage. So far I haven't found any 4k footage yet. All the downloads are underthe attribution license. So that means you have tocredit the author of the product. So overall, not the biggestfree stock site, but definitely worth checking out.

NO.2 Videezy.com.

It’s time to move over tonumber 4 on the list and that is videezy.com. This site offers completely freeand paid so-called Pro videos. These paid videos are marked witha green ‘Pro’ tag on top of the thumbnail. and all the other clipsare free to download and that's what we're here for today. Videezy offers a big collectionof 1080p and 4k footage. The site has an effective search featureand the filtering options are very useful. The first two rows of the search resultsare sponsored videos from Shutterstock. That is something that you'll findon most other sites as well. A negative point is that you can’tpreview an item in the search results. So you'll have to open up thevideo page to see a preview. If you're not a paid user you'll have todeal with the ads before downloading. And after a few downloadsthey also require you to register for a free account. But after that, you can download thefiles and use them for educational, personal and commercial projects. But also here it's basedon the attribution license. So that means you haveto credit the author.

NO.3 Pexels.com.

The third place in my listis for pexels.com. Pexels began as a free photo site but it now also has a large libraryof free HD stock videos. So if you'll search for somethingyou'll get the photo results, but you can also switch to the videos. You can preview the clips in thesearch results which is very handy. Shutterstock’s sponsoredvideos are listed on the bottom of the search results. A great place in my opinion. Although I didn't find any 4k footage, the quality of most 1080pclips is very good. But most important of all, all the clips are based on theCreative Commons 0 license. So, free to use and attributionis not required.

N0.4 Videvo.com.

Let’s move on to number 2in the list, videvo.net. Those of you who follow my channelnote that this is one of my favorite free stock video sites. In the past I've also sponsoredsome of my videos, but to be clear, this one is not sponsored. On this site they offer mostlyfree HD or 1080p footage. But they've also got some free 4k clips. They also offer paid orpremium video clips, but you can easily filter the free clipsin the search results if you want to. If you download the clip from Videvo, make sure to check the license. And that's because they usethree different types of licenses. The first one is the so called‘royalty-free license’. This is basically Creative Commons 0, but you're not allowed tore-upload the clip elsewhere. The next one is the ‘Videvoattribution license’. This is the same as the previous one, only here you need to credit the author. And the last one is the standardCreative Commons BY license. This one also requires attribution. But you can distribute the clipin its original form elsewhere. So you could say that licensingat Videvo is a bit more complex. But in return for that you get a hugecollection of unique free video clips.

NO.1 Pixabay.com

And then it's time fornumber 1, pixabay.com. This site offers more than a millionhigh-quality stock images and videos. They’ve got a huge -if not the biggest-collection of free HD and 4k Clips. Pixabay likes to present itselfas a community of creatives who share copyright freeimages and videos. All submissions are checkedfor quality by experts and they will only be allowed if they arein agreement with the quality guidelines. Still, I have to admit that not all clipshave the same high standard as you'll find on some of thesites that I mentioned before. The site itself is very intuitive. You can preview the clipsin the search results and you can also preview the originalclip in the browser before downloading. All the downloads have the samesimple Pixabay license. This basically is Creative Commons 0, but you're not allowed to redistributethe video to another stock site or sell it elsewhere. That's it for this Top 5Free Stock Video Sites. I hope you enjoyed it, and if you did, then please comment  the me, that really helps a lot. And also let me know if you agreewith my list in the comments below. Thank You Guys!

Make sure you always check the license terms before you use the footage in any project. And if you are a professional / commercial user, I highly recommend you to use paid footage only, including a license.
