Wireless Charging? Apple WatchOS 7 is out: Full Review

Hi guys. apple released watch os 7.0.2 to all supported   devices so if your watch supports watchos 7 this update should be out for you so that means   anything from the series 3 like i have here series 4 series 5 series 6 and se the update should be   available for you now and in order to get that update what you want to do is go to your phone.

now you can check on the watch but i usually go to my phone you want to go to the watch app and under   watch app just go to software update that can be found under your settings for watch go to general   go to software update and it will check and once it's there you can install it now just like any other watch os update you will need to actually have your your watch charge to at least 50 percent and on a charger unlocked in for in order for it to actually work and install the update so as long as you meet those criteria.

you'll be good to go and you'll be able to update now watch.os 7.0.2 came in at 70.5 megabytes on my series 6 apple watch and addresses a couple major concerns let's take a look at the build number and then talk about what's new so if we go to our settings.

then we go back here we'll go to settings then we'll go to general and about you'll see under version it says 18r402 that's the build number that's how you know you're on   the latest version by verifying it there now this particular update addresses a couple major issues like i said the first one being battery life some people were having horrendous battery life with 7.0.2 just like they were on ios 7. 

and i'll talk more about that in a little bit apple did not release ios updates at least by the time of this video or filming of this video nor did they release ipad updates or mac updates so this particular update though does fix battery issues which many people were having and what that means is if you were having extreme.

battery drain apple had told you in the past to actually completely wipe your watch and repair it in order to fix that problem so you would have to reset the watch wiping all the data off of it and then pair it to your your phone all over again and then it would solve that problem apple has since solved that with this update so if you're having that issue whether it be on a series three like this apple watch or another they've fixed it another thing they've fixed is ecg in fact i know someone that has this problem they updated they got a new watch connected to their phone and  ecg did not show up it wasn't even an option in their in their apps so you'll see i have ecg here it was happening in the areas that are supported now not all areas around the world have ecg but if  you're supposed to have it it should have already been there there was a bug that was preventing it   from showing up some people were able to fix that by again deleting the watch and repairing   it to their device but right now it should be fixed and showing up finally like expected   so that was a pretty major bug especially 

if you were looking forward to that particular feature   and it should be there now now one thing apple did not address directly is the rebooting issue that   people were having on series 3 apple watches this was a pretty major problem in fact i'm getting messages about it almost every day and regardless of battery life people.

were having their watch   reboot maybe the battery was going bad and you can check your battery health now if you have an older watch like this series 3 or maybe you just picked up a new series 3 you want it to function  as expected but make sure that your battery health isn't degraded you can check that under settings and then you want to go down to battery go to battery we'll wait for it to load scroll down you  have battery health now and under battery health you'll see this particular one is at 89 percent so that should be good it will tell you whether or not your watch needs to have the battery replaced .

 it's running okay and it seems to be fine but if you have a very low battery health capacity   well then maybe that's the issue otherwise though apple did not address it directly also in this this particular update should be some more bug fixes although they didn't call out any specifically and also there should be some security updates perhaps as well but they didn't mention any specifically either and other than that though performance.

should be fine it should be the same since it's a very minor update so your performance hopefully is good i  know some i know some people on a little bit older versions we're having some performance issues but it seems like it's mostly good for the majority of people that are using 7.0.2 so don't expect that too much.

i would expect maybe some major changes with watch os 7.1 maybe a couple more features or  watch faces and speaking of watch faces a lot of people have asked me what is this watch face and this is actually part of an app that allows you to create it under lumi so this is a purchased app that fills in golden hour which golden hour refers to sunset and sunrise when you want to take your   photos or videos it tells you exactly when that is and tells you how soon or how far away it is.

so it's a nice little app and then of course it has other complications you can see below   and so that's all this is it's a really nice apple watch face i like it a lot so i've been using it   now as far as ios 14.0.2 well i'm not sure that apple's actually even going to release it at this   point apple's event is tomorrow where they're going to show off the new iphones and we're not really expecting any major update maybe a fix for a couple things but apple has not said if they're going to release 14.0.2 or 14.1 many people suspect ios 14.1 with the release of iphone 12 so maybe we'll see a minor fix tomorrow.

where they actually release it and they fix that battery   issue just like they did today with apple watch hopefully we'll see that soon but we really don't  have any information on that at this particular time so hopefully we see that i'm not really sure. so if you have any question comment me Thank you guys
